"Shade Tree" RV MECHANIC - willing to learn and perform scheduled maintenance and simple repairs

Adventures in Alaska RV Rentals is seeking some "hands on" folks to perform RV "Pre-Flight Check" and small basic repairs/maintenance * on our fine rental fleet and park vehicles in exchange for RV site rent and other “perks”.
Some $$ potential on a contract basis for the right person/people. 
Safety and attention to detail highest priority.
* RV’s are sent to local garage for other than small day to day repairs.

PLUMBER ~ CARPENTER ~ ELECTRICIAN

We’re seeking an experienced Plumber/Carpenter/Electrician to help retrofit some “Pipeline” buildings (approx. May – Sept).

These buildings were used as movable “camps” for pipeline workers. We're adapting them to use in our new "logistics" business.

The basic construction is there, but we need to adapt i.e., move and install new doors & windows, install toilet, sink and bathtub, build outside decks (designs provided),  upgrade wall paneling, repair / replace flooring, painting, etc

CLEANING/HOUSEKEEPING OF RENTAL FLEET, Etc.

Our rental fleet needs immaculate cleaning and restocking prior to departing on each new rental. We're looking for a crew of 6 people, 3 couples would be great.

EXPEDITOR / DRIVER

Shop for both businesses, drive RV's for service, help clean RV's, Prep RV’s for rental, etc. This position will be filled from helpers once you arrive at our locationthe Resort.

WATER TRUCK DRIVER & MECHANIC

We need licensed CDL “Trucker” to help haul and off-load the potable (drinking) water we use in our park. We, of course, provide the truck and equipment – we just need your special abilities to haul heavy loads (1,000 Gals of Water) and a bit of your time.

You will also be charged with doing scheduled pumping of various systems “lift stations” into our main system. This is a 5 day a week - approximately 20 hours per week - position, with time off between necessary “water runs, and pumping”. This is in exchange for ½ RV site rent and other “perks” . We have other "stuff" that can fill up the other 20 hours/week for your full RV Site Rent.

This particular position requires: You must be at least 25, have current CDL and a clean driving record.

 

RV RENTALS OFFICE ASSISTANCE

We’re looking for front office helpers to work in some or all of the following:

Greet the most important people in the world, our clients!  Excellent phone skills and computer knowledge are necessary.

Process paperwork, and maintain follow up client calendars. Maintain data base, and housekeeping / maintenance / service calendars.

Orient guests to their rental and our RV Park and neighboring community. Disseminate information on local shopping, attractions and tours. 

Housekeeping duties include office area, lounge and immediate area outside building to include water and tending flowers.

Summer long commitment.  May include some $$ for the right person in addition to regular hours.
